After being closed for renovations during the summer, the Kanata Civic Art Gallery is now open! “Spectrums & Grandeur” is an exhibit showing lots of colour in a variety of styles. Drop into the gallery to see the new work on exhibit!
Art Lending of Ottawa
With four shows a year, Art Lending of Ottawa is a great place to find stunning art to rent or own. Try out a piece in your home or refresh your home office. It’s also a great place to find art for community spaces!
The next show is Saturday December 13 at the Jim Durrell Recreation Centre, 1265 Walkley Rd. Ottawa.
Gift of Art
The annual Gift of Art Sale is back this year! Hosted by the artists of Kanata Civic Art Gallery, you will find some vibrant art by some of Ottawa’s finest local artists. The show runs Saturday November 15 and Sunday November 16. It’s a very fun show to visit!
The event is held in the upper halls of the Mlacak Centre, 2500 Campeau Drive, Ottawa. The gallery will also be open during the show!

Poetry of Place
Sometimes we find a spot that resonates in our hearts. We embrace it. It brings us comfort and makes us dance. At those times, we feel at one with our surroundings. Other times, we are divided by space - physical space, emotional space and intellectual space.
This series celebrates these spaces, whether they offer us wide open vistas to play in, or shelters to bring us protection and comfort.
Essence of Place ~
Galapagos Islands
Wind and ocean currents, unique land formations and endemic species all combine to create an amazing wonder of nature in the Galapagos Islands. There is a true sense of place here as we are surrounded by the zen of sea turtles, the frolicking of sea lions and the beautiful dances and dives of the colourful birds. To be privileged to see this biodiversity is to experience the wonder and awe of nature.
